UK Deliveries are made via Royal Mail tracked and Parcelforce for heavier parcels and orders despatched daily Monday to Friday.

We aim to despatch all orders made prior to 13:00hrs the same day as appreciate you may need a muzzle quickly,

Next day special delivery is offered, however please be aware a signature is required the parcel cannot be left in a safe place.  You will receive an email from The Muzzle Shop informing you the parcel has been posted, and at that point you know it is arriving the next day (unless it is the weekend), so please ensure someone will be available to accept the parcel and sign for it. If there is no reply the Royal mail will immediately return the parcel to The Muzzle Shop, and the Customer will be liable to pay for the postage for a second time. The  next day service is only guaranteed Mon-Fri and not weekends.

We  post worldwide, the cost is calculated by the destination, size and weight of the parcel.
Please check the items you order can be imported into your Country, particularly treats/chews as these can be subject to stringent import rules. If the parcel is returned to us the customer will be liable to pay for the postage a second time.

We offer International Tracked which is insured up to the full value of your parcel, and  International Standard delivery which is insured up to a value of £20.00.  
Very few deliveries are lost or delayed, however the process of claiming for a lost International Parcel isn’t easy as it involves 2 Countries, so please be prepared to wait until the claim has been settled before a payout can be agreed.

The vast majority of the few parcels where delivery isn’t straight forwards is because the delivery company couldn’t get an answer when trying to deliver the parcel, or the import fees are outstanding. Different Countries have different import taxes and fees and we do not collect these on your behalf they remain payable by you.

If your parcel does not arrive within the specified time frame then please contact us and we will contact the Royal Mail, and process a claim with them. You must contact us within 8 weeks from the date of posting.

Returns

We hope your items are a perfect fit and you are happy with your purchase. However we realise there may be times when you need to return an item, and we are happy to take all items for a refund, with the exception of food and treats, up to 30 days after you have received them.

We regret that we are unable to process exchanges for a different size, instead you will be required to return the item for a refund and buy a different size.

Please note, whilst we are not obliged to we accept muzzles customised with nosebands for a refund, and reserve the right to deduct £4.50 from the total return value. 

In the case of muzzles the return window can be extended if requested as we appreciate some nervous dogs may take  while to desensitise to the muzzle and we do not want you to rush this process, please contact us by emailing enquiries@themuzzleshop.com or phone 07756395416 to arrange this.

All items must be returned in a clean and unworn condition and in their original packaging where applicable.

The buyer is responsible for the return postage costs, unless the item is faulty in which case please contact us in the first instance.
